Rally Days Isle
Lyrics by BigDaddy
To the Tune of Gilligan’s Island Theme
Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale;
A tale of a Rally Trip
It started from Georgetown, K Y;
Aboard a bus, not a ship
The mate was a mighty Nascar fan;
The driver brave for sure.
The passengers set out that day;
On a 3-day tour. A 3-day tour.
The weather never did get rough;
The tiny bus not tossed.
But it did take courage
From the fearless crew
To prevent lunches from being lost. Lunches from being lost.
The bus pulled into Nashville, T N
At a hotel with lots of suites for
Big Head Jay, Jim Beasley too.
No one dared bring their wives.
Next came Sienna Sleaze and the rest of Shine 2K.
Here on Rally Days Isle.

This is a poem I wrote to welcome home a good friend of mine. Kate this one’s for you.
Thine fairest princess, now of the West
Until your arrival, I thought it best
To write this verse, I’ll hold so dear
Til such time, I find you near
So fly to us and make much haste
And none of your time, let mortals waste
Whether in thine scrubs or finest gown
Many await your arrival to our little town
The gleam in your eyes, I cannot wait to see
Like the largest diamond, next to me you’ll be
We share a love that knows no bounds
Even though it is now separated by many towns
But I shall not forsake thine sacred ring
Out of respect for me, you and your beloved King
Enjoy a weekend of fun, surrounded by friends
As we descend on Gatlinburg once again
You know your time is short, rest before you arrive
We’ll celebrate til midnight and awaken before five
Your return trip long and lonely, but do not despair
It won’t be long before your friends will take to the air
You will greet us in the desert of Arizona
Until that time, we’ll keep in touch by telephona
