Weekly Update

Don’t make me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry. HULK SMASH! …

After taking some time off from working out, I knew I wanted to push myself. I came up with a little system to rank my workouts for each day. If I do one full set of weights and bike, it’s a bronze medal. Two sets would be the silver and three sets means gold, of course. This weekend I hit it pretty hard. I wanted to get my workout done for the day without having to come back for a second round. It took a decent chunk of time considering you’re talking an hour and a half of just the bike, but I think it was worth it.

I woke up early Monday morning, so I did one set. I weighed in five pounds lighter than last week for a total of thirty pounds lost. Still got a ways to go, but it’s a good start.

I’ve become hyper-aggressive lately. I seem to get hot while driving or at work or even at home sometimes. I need instant results and gratification. My mind seems to be going a mile a minute which has begun to affect my sleep. I seem to have so many things that I want to do that I have trouble falling asleep. I’m going to get back to reading books before bed to see if that helps any. I’m in the middle of 7th Heaven by James Patterson. I also have the latest two Star Wars novels waiting in the wings. I’m hoping those will help me get back under control. I’m trying my best to channel the aggression into exercising and chores around the house. I am also planning on setting up my heavy bag stand, so I can take some anger out on an actual punching bag.
