Not So Much Progress Report

I take two steps forward then take two steps back ...

Mistakes were made and lessons were learned. I didn’t actually lose any more weight this week. I didn’t gain any either. I was a bit lazy with my eating this past week, so I’m okay with the overall outcome. I’m focusing on my eating habits this week after last week’s escapades that included lunches at the Chinese buffet, Wendy’s and Taco Bell. I cooked a turkey in the crock pot over the weekend and have several more days of enjoying that before my trip to Atlanta this weekend. I’m planning a pretty rigorous series of workouts leading into the weekend, but I know that will not make up for complete carelessness when it comes to my diet. Hopefully, next week I’ll have some more positive news to convey. There’s only six more weeks until the start of volleyball season, so I have to stay focused.
