Progress Report
A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step ...
Today was the first big D-day or S-day as the case may be. I lost a little over 5 lbs. in the last week. I took off completely on Saturday, no bike at all. Sunday was a different story all together. My cousin Mike stopped by for an intense full body workout. I then followed up with a little over 20 miles on the bike in 2 forty minute sessions. I also pushed myself a little this morning before I weighed in. I think what I'm doing so far has been pretty effective. I'd like to keep working with my cousins and Phil for my weight/resistance training. The bike is kind of relaxing and according to a couple of reports that I read, cardio may stimulate brain activity including focus and memory. So here's to the first step in a very long journey. Hopefully, I can control myself at the Ski Trip this weekend and continue making gains.
