I'll Be Missing You

Since you've been gone ...


I've noticed over the last few weeks that I miss volleyball. Actually to be honest its been more than a few weeks. Doug put a pretty good team together. Even though we were hampered by injuries, we could have made a serious push in the playoffs. It was not meant to be I suppose. One big regret is that the team will not be at full strength next year. Mary proved she could take a kick to the head, but decided the life here in Lexington was not all it was cracked up to be. She's finishing her doctorate in chemical engineering and then heading for greener pastures. I am hoping there will be a way to reunite Michelle, Speedy, Doug and myself for another shot at the title. We'll see how things play out in the offseason.

Fast forward a month and get to the NFL playoffs already.
