I Fought the Law

Okay not really, but it sure seems that way. In the never ending saga that is my conflict with UK, they have now selected our graduation day. We will be graduating on Friday, June 9th sometime in the afternoon. Not since middle school have I been to a graduation during the week. There would have to be a logical explaination for such an idiotic decision, right? WRONG! The reason the UK MBA program is interested in having our graduation on Friday is for the guest speaker. The guest speaker that has not even confirmed yet. The students banded together and let the administration know that we would prefer a Saturday afternoon/evening graduation followed by a Friday evening graduation, so that it would be easier on family and friends to attend. The MBA program replied rapidly to the tune of we don't care. So it has gone for the last several months, 'We got you and there's not a damn thing you can do about it now.' I've given up on making changes to the program and it's mentality. So good luck to whoever follows in this path.

Now, I told you that story to tell you this one. I'm graduating June 9th in the afternoon and anyone that would like to come is more than welcome. I realize that this is a bit of an imposition with folks working and such. So I'm sure shortly before or after that date, I'm guessing on a Saturday night, there will be a graduation party at the house. When details become available I will be happy to share.

One last note, there haven't been any pictures on the site since 'my return.' My camera was appropriated by the Schandings, but I have recovered it. So I will be posting pictures shortly to go with all the anger you've had to read through here.
