Business Simulation part 2
I promised the number one spot and I deliver. There were some ups and downs, but Ferris came out on top. We negotiated hard in year four to keep our labor costs down. The union went on strike for 63 days and our turnover rate went from 6% to 11%, but we did end up with the best labor contract for the company.
As you can see, we wiped out the competition with over $300 million in sales during the final year. Sales more than tripled in 7 years. Almost $90 million in cumulative profit with $25 million of that coming in the last year.
Ferris ended up with the largest market share as well.
This is the certificate we were given at the end. We were told to frame it and put it next to our MBA degree when we finally get a job.
