Future Plans

I have been at the job for just under a year now. Things are looking good here and I am awaiting a promotion and raise as I round the corner into my anniversary date. With that bit of good news on the horizon, I thought I would take a look at how things might change for me in the coming months.

A new TV with surround sound for the upstairs. Technically, I've already bought the new TV, but I'll pay it off and get the surround sound to match. I'm shopping around for a nice receiver and a pair of tower speakers. I'll add to the speaker package as time goes by to make it quite the heart thumper. Here's a quick look at the TV I picked up last year.

A new house. Okay, not really a new house, but I am planning to refinance my current house and pay it off much quicker. I am currently in the midst of a 30 year adjustable rate loan. I am planning on refinancing in October and move to a 15 year fixed rate loan. The value of my house has gone up enough that I will not have to pay PMI aka mortgage insurance anymore. A new car. This one is for real. I have been looking hard at the Dodge Charger. I have priced them new and used and I'm really hoping to buy a loaded R/T. We'll see how things work with everything, but I'm looking forward to getting my hands on that Hemi.
