Even though she now regrets it, Jana wanted to know more about the new Camry and, by extension, me. We have been ramping up production of the 2007 Camry for a month now. Production is now up to 485 cars (Avalon and Camry) per shift with a jump to about 550 cars by next Friday. Camry production is approximately 56%, but that could increase depending on sales. The increased production is also causing increased overtime. We are looking at 2 to 3 hours of overtime a night next week. If Toyota has their way, we could be making as many as 600 cars per shift. That would send overtime through the roof, so I’m hoping that’s not the case. Either way, the Camry has been spiced up and looks pretty. Here are some exterior shots:
The interior is not half bad either. Here are some looks at the leather interiors with navigation.
Now I hope you understand why I work so hard on Thursday and Friday nights. It’s so I can bring joy to a family when they purchase the sleek, reliable Toyota family of vehicles at an unbeatable price.
