Update

Work is good. Next week, Toyota is shut down for their summer holiday. I still have to work, but I will be stretching the use of that word each and every day. My one year anniversary is coming up and I hope to be promoted to Senior Logistics Analyst soon, which will hopefully come with a raise. We're going to start getting a little busier at work now that summer is wrapping up and we will end up routing every month, instead of in two month periods.

I've been cleaning and moving stuff around the house in the hopes that my appraisal will go very well. I'm expecting around 160 to 170 when the final report comes in. That will be a pretty good return on the 121 initial investment. I'm looking to refinance with a 15 year fixed rate loan. If everything goes well with the appraisal, I can close as early as mid-August. I have a few luxuries that I will splurge for, but most of the money will go towards my bills. If things don't work out with this refi, I'll settle back and wait another 8 months or so and give it another shot. No big deal either way.

The next several weekends are going to be kind of hectic. This coming Sat. is Phil's annual pool party in Danville. That should be all the food and fun I can handle. July 21st is a trip aboard the Star of Louisville for my Aunt's birthday celebration. I should get to see some of my Dad's family that I don't see as often as I should. The last weekend in July will be Pat's bachelor party and a trip to Cincy to see my little cousin play basketball. I've only seen her play once before so it should be exciting. And Pat's party will be all the guy stuff that won't get you in trouble with the old lady - golf, bowling, kareoke and drinking (okay the drinking can get you in a lot of trouble) all to the tune of a stretch Hummer limo. Aug. 4th is Pat and Amanda's wedding, so that will be lots of fun. Might see a few people from school. Aug. 11th is still a free weekend, but if nothing else, I'll hang out at Ramsey's sometime over the weekend to celebrate my refi - hopefully the finishing touches will be done by then. And of course, Aug. 18th is my cousin Will's wedding in Atlanta. Will and Kristin are finally tying the knot and I will be there front and center as the Best Man. Having a bunch of friends and family around will be great and the open bar won't hurt either. So that's my hectic run over the next several weeks. You know how to get ahold of me if you need to.
