A Half Day in the Life
I know most of you think I’m some sort of celebrity or rock star, but I’m just like you. I have my good days and bad days. I also know many of you are addicted to reality TV, so I’ve provided a little twist on that indulgence. I’m not going to give you a close look at how things go down for me in the course of this half day. Instead I’ll be showing you what happens to my hair. That’s all you get for now.
This particular half day starts around 2:40 am after a straight 8 at the Toyota plant.
I spent almost 10 hours in that bandana and 8 in a bump cap before coming home. Work does hell to a man’s hair.
After a nice shower the hair curls up, but is still a bit unruly.
I tried brushing it back, but the hair has a mind of its own. It still curls wherever it wants especially at the back.
After a few hours sleep the hair becomes quite unruly again. Time to show it who’s the boss.
I cut a landing strip down the middle (reverse Mohawk style), but the hair is still out of control.
I cut the sides above the ear in a last ditch effort to show my power.
You will respect my authority!
All that's left of the malcontent locks.
I hope you enjoyed this look at how quickly things change in life. Remember that the next time you put something important off until the next day, 'cause you never know what the next day is going to look like. Now you know. And knowing is half the battle! G.I. Joe!

you, sir, are not normal... but then, that's why we like you!
Off with the hair, on with the pirate gear. That's just Brett being Brett. My fave is the reverse mohawk. Try that one for a while next time, how about it?!
