Spotlight: Chrysler 300C

Does it have a HEMI?

Pretty as a picture, Chrysler's 300C

Hell yeah, it has a HEMI. A 5.7-liter HEMIĀ® V8 engine with Multi-Displacement System (MDS), 340 horsepower at 5,000 rpm, and 390 lb-ft of torque comes standard on the 300C. That gives the 300C the most horsepower and torque in its class. If that was all the 300C had going for it, I would not be writing about it here. It has a spacious and elegant interior with a handcrafted feel. The 300C is loaded with a ton of features, some standard and some optional. There is a Boston Acoustics six-speaker system, luxury leather-trimmed bucket seats, A/C with dual zone temperature control and four-wheel independent touring suspension that all come standard with the 300C and may or may not be optional on other models. Power adjustable pedals with memory, walnut trim interior, power sunroof and GPS navigation system with six-disc CD/MP3 changer are all optional if you want to get yours fully loaded.

Is that a 300 or a Bentley?

My Dad loves the Chrysler 300 and is really looking forward to getting one (with or without the HEMI). His sister recently purchased one (no HEMI) and that has only added fuel to his long burning fire. Since today is Father's Day, I thought I might do something nice for my Dad and pick him up the 300C in black just like he wants. I'm sure he'll love it. I just wish it wasn't 1/18th scale. Maybe this will tide him over until he gets the lifesize one he deserves.
